The latest updates for soft-wheeler in the tire module

The tire module in autoscan has been further enhanced for soft-wheeler users: new pick lists, transit storage locations, and mandatory fields ensure greater efficiency during tire changes.

Update 1: Pick list make pre-mounting preparations visible

As part of routine tire changes, not all tires are the same: some need to be washed, inspected, or prepared for additional work.

The new pick lists group these tires in a targeted way. This makes it immediately clear, even at the picking stage, which additional tasks are required. Planning becomes easier, follow-up questions are reduced, and workflows run more smoothly throughout the entire tire change cycle.

Update 2: Transit storage locations for everyday workshop use

In day-to-day practice, tires are often temporarily placed in locations that are not intended as traditional storage areas – for example, at the washing station.

This is exactly what the new transit storage locations are designed for. They represent temporary holding areas without requiring all the information needed for final storage locations. This saves time, avoids unnecessary data entry, and accurately reflects real workshop processes within the system.

Update 3: Mandatory fields for improved data quality

Missing or incomplete information during storage can quickly lead to issues later on. To prevent this, fields in the tire module for soft-wheeler can now be made mandatory. These mandatory fields can be configured individually – with the option to require all fields, selected fields, or none at all.

This ensures that all relevant data is captured. The result: consistent records, higher data quality, and a reliable foundation for all subsequent work steps.
