New features in the tire warehouse module
Say goodbye to stress during tire season: Our scanner solution now offers practical new features for the soft-wheeler system!
The soft-wheeler system is the tire management software developed by our partner soft-nrg. We’ve implemented a few new features to make life easier in the upcoming tire season!
Feature 1: Record rim manufacturers and styles
Some businesses like to track the manufacturer and styling of rims in their system – and now, you can do this directly with our scanner solution on your mobile device!
Feature 2: Notifications for reserved storage spaces
In some tire storage facilities, specific spaces are permanently reserved for certain customers’ wheel sets. To prevent these spaces from being occupied by other sets, autoscan now displays a pop-up notification whenever a reserved spot is selected.
Feature 3: Auto-complete for tire models
If tire models are already set up in soft-wheeler, selecting them in autoscan is now incredibly easy: simply open the search field, type in the first few letters, and the corresponding model will appear!
And if the model you’re searching for hasn’t been entered into the system yet? No problem—just add it manually via our scanner solution, and the data will be automatically transferred to soft-wheeler.
Feature(s) 4: Three upgrades to picking lists
autoscan displays automatically generated picking lists on mobile devices, making it easier to prepare wheel sets for upcoming appointments.
Here’s what’s new: If a wheel set requires special servicing before installation (e.g., balancing), it will now appear in a separate pick list.
Furthermore, until now, wheel sets in pick lists were sorted by customer appointment. Now, they can also be sorted by storage location!
To top it off: The pick lists now clearly show the relevant day with labels like “today” or “tomorrow” right next to the date—making it easier to plan at a glance.
