We continuously improve our scanner solution to make workflows even more efficient. Based on valuable user feedback, we have implemented three key optimizations.
1. Goods receipt: five times faster loading for direct deliveries
A customer managing purchase lists with thousands of items reported long loading times in our scanner solution. Our optimization now ensures a fivefold increase in loading speed – saving valuable time and significantly boosting efficiency in goods receipt.
2. Picking: Flexible posting date
The posting date for picking can now be set individually. Users of our scanner solution with BC can either automatically apply the current date or manually select a different booking date – offering greater flexibility to meet their needs.
3. Partial posting now possible
Previously, all items in the delivery had to be fully received before an automatic posting could take place. Now, partial postings can be processed automatically through autoscan in Business Central, making items available earlier.
